Network At KL International Airport Stabilising Well

SEPANG – Malaysia Airports would like to update members of the public and passengers travelling through KL International Airport (IATA Code: KUL) that the network is stabilising well.

Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin, the group chief executive officer of Malaysia Airports said that the organisation remains committed in providing the highest quality of service and will continue to monitor the situation and ensure that smooth operations remain.

Commenting on the network failure, he stated that the airport operator has not ruled out the possibility that the failure was caused by an act of malicious intent, “Nevertheless, we will put this in the hands of the authorities to do a full investigation on the matter.”

Despite the network disruption in the last several days, we wish to reassure the public that the security aspects at the airport has remained intact. This was possible due to the close cooperation given by the Department of Immigration Malaysia and the Royal Malaysia Police. While we have extended all possible assistance to the airlines during this period, the same level of assistance, cooperation and understanding was also given to us by the airlines. We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our sincere gratitude to our airline and agency stakeholders for coming together and providing the best fall back solutions.

We thank all passengers and members of the public for your patience and kind understanding. Should you require any assistance, do reach out to our Airport CARE Ambassadors on the ground.
